No preferred manager of type business system 308 when launching Noah ES

Launching Noah 4 you receive the message:

NoahDataInterfaces.NoahConnectException: No preferred manager of type Business System registered in Noah Client, Noah Exception Code: NoPreferredManager (308)

Solution 1

Reboot the computer and try to log in again.

Solution 2

Re-register Noah components using the following directions. 

  1. Open a Command prompt

  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HIMSA\Noah 4

  3. Type noahappsregister fregister

  4. When the command is complete, the last line should read ‘Applications registered’
