  1. The most important first step is to be on Noah 4.10 or higher. Noah 4.10 includes a new networking infrastructure for more stable and robust network communication over internet connection. You can download Noah 4.10 from the HIMSA website.
  2. A good internet connection. You will access your Noah Server over the internet. This will require a stable and reliable internet connection.
  3. An accurate picture of your current Noah setup.
    1. How many computers with Noah?
    2. What version of Noah is on the machines?
    3. Are you combining databases from standalone machines or multiple offices?
    4. How many unique users will be accessing Noah?
      1. Do they have user accounts?
      2. Have passwords been enabled in Noah?
      3. Do the user know their passwords? Are the using complex passwords?
  4. HIMSA requires that password security is enabled, and 'Enforce complex passwords' is selected.
