  1. The most important first step for a successful move to Noah as a Service is to be on Noah 4.10 or higher. Noah 4.10 includes a new networking infrastructure for more stable and robust network communication over internet connections. You can download Noah 4.10 from the HIMSA website.

  2. A good internet connection. You will access your Noah Server over the internet. This will require a stable and reliable internet connection.

  3. An accurate picture of your current Noah setup:

    1. How many computers with Noah?
    2. What version of Noah is on the machines?
    3. Are you combining databases from standalone machines or multiple offices?
    4. How many unique users will be accessing Noah?
      1. Do they have user accounts?
      2. Have passwords been enabled in Noah?
      3. Do the user know their passwords?
      4. Are they using complex passwords?

  4. HIMSA requires for Noah as a Service that login security is enabled, and 'Enforce strong user passwords' is selected. You will find these settings in the Noah Console at Security Administration, Login.
