- The most important first step for a successful move to Noah as a Service is to be on Noah 4.10 or higher. Noah 4.10 includes a new networking infrastructure for more stable and robust network communication over . You can download Noah 4.10 from the HIMSA website.
- A good internet connection. You will access your Noah Server over the internet. This will require a stable and reliable internet connection.
- An accurate picture of your current Noah setup:
- How many computers with Noah?
- What version of Noah is on the machines?
- Are you combining databases from standalone machines or multiple offices?
- How many unique users will be accessing Noah?
- Do they have user accounts?
- Have passwords been enabled in Noah?
- Do the user know their passwords?
- Are they using complex passwords?
- HIMSA requires for Noah as a Service that login security is enabled, and 'Enforce strong user passwords' is selected. You will find these settings in the Noah Console at Security Administration, Login.
