Regenerate Shim

When switching from a newer version of Noah ES to an older version, it is necessary to regenerate the shim on Noah ES clients before they will function.

The most common occurrence of this is if a device running against HIMSA’s QA environment needs to run against a production environment, or if a version in an environment is downgraded.

To regenerate the shim, do the following:

  • Stop Noah Client Service

  • Go here: C:\Program Files (x86)\HIMSA\Noah 4\CloudShim and delete all files in the folder.

  • Start Noah Client Service

  • Log in to the correct environment
