Does my Business System have to get certified?

No.  However, HIMSA strongly recommends your business system be submitted for certification testing.  HIMSA’s certification testing is designed to test your business system to make sure it works with Noah Engine and all HIMSA certified modules.  Certification testing is a great way to find critical bugs before your business system is released.  Secondly, there are end users who will not use a business system unless it is HIMSA certified.  These users know that HIMSA’s certification process is designed to make sure the business systems will cause them no problems and will work like they expect.
