Launching Noah I receive error 50138

Error 50138 means that Noah cannot connect to the server. In the case of Noah as a Service, where the Noah Server is remote and managed by HIMSA, you can be confident that the Noah server is up and running. Start looking first at something that may be causing the problem from the local machine.

  1. Check if Port 8206 is available. Noah 4.10 requires ports 8202 and 8206 to communicate. Port 8206 is a new requirement. You can use the Port Availability Tool found at this link to verify that port 8206 is open.

  2. Check to see if your computer can reach the remote Noah Server with a PING.
    1. Navigate to a command prompt and type PING yourservername.noah4.com
